Jeffrey Campbell Scully

Another day; another shoe purchase.
One of my latest arrivals direct from Solestruck; the Jeffrey Campbell Scully.
A pre-order from months back, I finally received them about a week ago now.
Jeffrey Campbell is and always will be my shoe designer of choice. Every time I take a new pair out of the box, they never disappoint.
Sticking to my tradition of black platforms. These are a 6 inch heel with a 2 inch grippy platform.
I got my usual size 6 and if anything they feel slightly small, but still wearable.
I'm not overly fond of the velcro ankle strap, but that can be removed if desired.
As always with platforms; I had no trouble walking in these, they are very stable and well balanced.
I've already worn them in a couple of outfit posts; 'Hocus Pocus' and 'Witch Please' and also with high socks which I really love the look off paired together with these platforms.

Yes Galactic

I've always loved shopping on Solestruck, by far my favourite online store for shoes. When they started there own shoe line called Yes; I was excited to try them.
A lot of them were very much my style- dark colours and chunky platforms.
I decided on three different pairs- here is the first.
Lace up platform boots very similar to my trusty Jeffrey Campbell Tardy's which I wear a lot! When I saw these on the site they were an instant want!
Then once again Black Milk used them for one of their shoots- funny how we have the same tastes ;)
So my two loves merged together and that decided it for me; I had to have them!
As always Solestruck were wonderful! Easy to order and great customer service; I had my new shoes within a few days :)
I've already worn these out a few times- they didn't need any breaking in! They were so comfy right away and being a platform- easy to walk in too!
I got my regular size 7, which is what I usually buy in boots so I can wear socks with them. They fit try to size, pretty similar fit to the JC Tardy's actually.
So far so good! They are well made and very sturdy. Shiny patent leather without being too in-your-face. I love the square toe, something different from most of my other shoes.
Overall these are awesome and I would definitely recommend them! I'm really happy with them and they will be worn a lot :)

Deandri Ginger

As you would already know if you follow my blog; these days it's all about Black Milk!
However my blog originally began due to my love of shoes; my first posts were all about my personal collection, new arrivals and shoes I loved, but did not yet own.
I used to buy frequently from Solestruck at the peak of my obsession; at the time Solestruck was the place to go for Jeffrey Campbell's, they had every pair I wanted and I always received great customer service.
My buying slowed around the time that Solestruck dropped down their new arrivals from Jeffrey Campbell, slowing selling out to just a few popular styles. It was a big disappointment for me as I loved shopping on Solestruck over all the other stockists.
It was of course Black Milk that tempted me back to Solestruck, when the new collab between Black Milk x Solestruck was released, I found myself on the website checking out all the new brands.
I found a couple of styles which I loved! One were these Deandri Ginger Platforms in black on black.
I remember seeing Deandri around quite a lot about a year ago, but the styles at the time were not really for me; lots of wooden heels. These of course still have the wooden heel, but in black rather than natural wood.
After I found these on the site, Black Milk's latest photoshoot came out; featuring these exact shoes! It was great to see them paired with the clothes I wear everyday, I ordered them pretty soon after that!
I emailed Solestruck and was told they probably wouldn't be getting them in again, so I had to size up, something I was a bit worried about, but turned out to not be such a big issue. The Ginger runs half a size small anyway so it was really only a half size too big which is nothing socks cant fix ;)
I love the style of these!! I'm really into all things black and witchy right now so these fit that perfectly!
I've worn them out once already. I found that they do squeak when I walk..hopefully something that will go away once they are worn in a bit.
They are very comfy though! Even with the 6.5inch heel. I'm used to wearing huge platforms anyway so these were no problem!

OMG Shoes!

Something different from the usual Black Milk posts that have taken over my blog lately ;)
Going back to my first obsession; Shoes!
I recently decided that I needed these UNIF Koop Sneakers in the Black Leather.
Lately I've been more into the grungy/dark looks, I spotted these and impulse bought them.
They still have a platform, so not completely flat, but something different than the giant platform heel styles I usually go for.
I love my Hellraiser's because of the spikes that cover them, I really liked these for that reason too, they remind me of a more dangerous version of the converse sneakers ;)
I ordered them from Karmaloop, a site that I usually avoid, but they were on sale and I had a code, so it was a pretty good deal. As usual I was disappointed with Karmaloop's service- delivery was super slow and when they finally did arrive they were missing a spike already!
I contacted UNIF direct and they are sending me out some extra spikes! They are always really awesome with their customer service at least. Karmaloop's solution was for me to send them back, oh but by the way we don't have that style anymore..Awesome thanks guys -_-
I am yet to wear them out, I've only tried them on, but they seem good overall! Very sturdy and good quality (apart from the spike issue).
I got a size 6 after reading mixed reviews. I'm glad I decided against sizing up as even the 6 seem a little big.

Smileys & Crosses

I finally decided to buy the Black Milk Cross of St Peters Skirt.
I went for the white seeing as I already own the black version in the leggings.
I also bought the Smiley Hosiery, they are so cute, from afar they look like regular patterned tights, but up close they are made up of lots of little smiley faces.
I really love both pieces!
I paired them with a simple black top and my new JC x Nasty Gal Angela Platforms.
