Jabberwocky

I was so undecided about the Jabberwocky Swim when it was released, there were a lot of other pieces I wanted in that release, and being a 48hr item it wasn't my priority.

I ended up not buying it, which of course, as usual I regretted. 

I ended up swapping with another lovely Sharkie- she got my Starry Nights dress and I got the Jabberwocky!

I really love the colours and how the texture of the print makes it look like a drawing.

I paired it here with my leather skirt and a new jacket bought recently from Dolls Kill- another of my favourite online stores :)

Pegasus

A blue and neutral outfit for today's post. Wearing my Black Milk Pegasus Swim for the first time since I bought it a few months back. 

Another piece I never gave much thought to when it was in-store, but I've been collecting all the Animal Swim's lately. I really like the background image behind the Pegasus; it reminds me of Alphonse Mucha pieces.

I paired the swim with another Black Milk piece; one of my many velvet bodycon skirts- this time in a light blue to match the background of the swim.

I really like how these pieces look paired with one of my favourite pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's; the Stunning. These neutral toned shoes match so much! The T-strap design is always a winner for me :)

Wolf

Another dream piece crossed of my list! I recently got the Wolf Swim finally!

It is in a bigger size, so I'm planning on getting it altered to fit better soon.

I really love the Black Milk Animal prints, especially the older one's like this. 

I paired it with grey denim shorts, usually I wear my swims with high waisted skirts, but I didn't want to lose to much of the wolf print.

Also these stockings; which I bought from Dolls Kill a long time ago now and have had sitting in the draw, I like them paired with my Mary Chain platforms :)

Black Hole

Galaxy Black Hole Swim; Really glad I got this one, it was around for a much shorter time than the other galaxy pieces. It's a really pretty pastel colour scheme.

I thought it would look nice paired with my metallic rose skirt to match the lighter pink tones in the swim.

Gizmo

This one takes me back to my childhood..The Mogwai swim from Black Milk's Halloween collection.

Featuring one of the cutest characters Gizmo, just look at his sad little face.

I really like that the print is in Black & White rather than colour. I paired it with mostly black, I like how his face peeks out from under the jacket :)

The Halloween collection has definitely been my favourite release to date! I've already bought 7 pieces and have quite a few still on my wishlist! Loving all the designer pieces.

Jacko

The Black Milk Halloween release included a Jack O Lantern Skater Dress; it inspired me to wear my Jack O Lantern Swim from last years Halloween Collection. 

I paired it with my Burnt Velvet Skater Skirt, creating a dark Halloween vibe.

Here is my 3rd Phillip Lim for Target bag; the Yellow one, probably my favourite of the three.

It matched my accessories; yellow Balenciaga bracelet and my favourite vintage necklace.

Crazy Patterns

Glad I decided to buy the Back Of The Deck Swim in the last BM release, being a limited pre-sale item, I was still undecided, but the time limited made me cave! Turns out I really like it :)

 Such a crazy pattern called for a simple bottom; the Eyelash Skirt. The Eyelash Dress & Tee are some of my most worn and versatile Black Milk pieces, so I knew I needed the skirt when it was announced!

I'm really looking forward to the Halloween release! Judging from the ever-growing list; there are quite a number of items I plan on nomming :)

Lace Ribs

I'm not really a fan of the Black Milk bone themed pieces, but I do like the White Ribs swim.

I paired it with my Black Milk Lace Skater Skirt, a piece I think I will wear a lot; it goes with everything!

It's really getting too cold for outfits like these; I have to add some extra layers to go out, can't wait for Winter to be over and it hasn't even officially began yet :(

Lace Samurai

Double Black Milk! 2 of my newest pieces; Samurai Swim and Blue Lace Skater Skirt!

I really wanted the Blue Skirt, but my phone had a meltdown when it was released, so I missed it, so glad I was able to get it from another lovely Sharkie :)

It matches really well with the Foxy Spikes and my Samurai Swim!

Dollar Bones

The latest in my Black Milk Swim collection; White Ribs Swim and Dollar Swim!

I got these new for the bargain price of $50 each! 

I love my Dollar Dress! So I'm excited to have the swim version too :)

I'm not usually into the bones things, but this white version is nice, and for that price, I wasn't about to not buy it ;)

Pop Art & Popsicles

These would have to be 2 of my favourite pieces!

Pop Art Dress and White Popsicle Swim.

Yes I finally made it to 100 (store) pieces :) A lot of my older Black Milk was purchased elsewhere like eBay, so it's taken me a while to reach this milestone, but I finally got my dress and I love it!

I also got another dream piece; Popsicle Swim!! So much love for this, probably my favourite Black Milk print ever! I can't wait for the black version to be released so I can have them both :)

Mario Watchman

One of my most loved Black Milk Pieces; The Mario Watchman Swim.

Am I the only one who tends not to wear my rarer pieces often in fear of something happening to them?

I paired it with a bright yellow skater skirt and my trusty Betsey Johnson heels.

Vamp

The Vamp Swim; probably one of my favourite Black Milk pieces. 

I recently got in in a swap- still brand new! 

I paired it with one of my new skirts and the red and black heels I bought in Hawaii.

I love red & black together, so I really like this outfit :)

Volcanoes & Sunsets

So happy to finally have the Sunset Swim! It was one of my final dream pieces to obtain and now it's mine thanks to a lovely fellow Sharkie!

I love it! Such a pretty print, can't wait to wear it!

I also got the Volcano Dress, I tracked down the leggings and loved them! So when the print was released as a dress I knew I had to have it! It's a little different to the leggings, the print is lighter, but I think it works better on a dress; more of a landscape.

The Volcano Dress is another one that can be worn backwards for a different look, although I personally prefer the front :)

Sweet & Skull

Once again; I decided that I needed Alice once it was sold out..luckily they were still quite a few for sale! 

As for the Funny Skull, I saw a girl wearing it at Soundwave and loved it! So I decided to get one for myself :)

Black Milk- 1 Year On

Friday marks 1 year since I received my first Black Milk item (Rainbow Galaxy Skirt).

Since that time my collection has grown rapidly. 

My current collection stands at 141 pieces. 95 from the store, so only 5 pieces to go until I get my 100 piece Pop Art Dress!! Can't wait :)

I've sold some items, and swapped others, I've found a great community and managed to gather lots of dream pieces!

Looking forward to see what Black Milk bring out next, I'm sure my collection will continue to steadily grow ;)

Pacman

First outfit with my Pacman Swim!

I was so excited to finally get this, but hadn't worn it until now; it cost me a fair amount so I'm a pretty carful with it ;)

It's a little big- I would ideally love to downsize to an XS if I can ever find one! I find old cut swims fit pretty differently to new cut. I would also love to get/swap for the Pacman Dress! I feel a lot of the print is lost on the swim when worn as a bodysuit.

Definitely still one of my favourite Black Milk pieces though!

Theres only one more that i REALLY want and thats Sunset, hopefully I'll get it eventually :)

Black Milk - Lord Of The Rings

I'm really liking the Black Milk Lord Of The Rings collection! Simply because of the actual designs- not because they are relevant to me; I've never actually seen the movies, but there are quite a few really pretty detailed pieces.

So far I have the Hobbit Map Dress and The Ring Swim, I would also like to get the You Shall Not Pass Dress soon :)

The Map Dress is another piece that could be worn reversible; the back is similar to the original Map Dress.
