Harley

I never really understood the hype over Black Milk's "Harley Quinn" Leggings the Red & Blacks, yet I really like this sample dress I recently acquired.
It's a wet look skater dress, similar to the two-toned PVC skirts that never ended up being released either, apparently there were problems with the two colours rubbing together, but this dress being wet look, doesn't have that problem. Hopefully it's released eventually, It's a really cool piece.
I paired it with another recent addition- the Card Suit Hosiery, keeping in the Harley Quinn theme :)
Black and red accessories complete the colour blocked look.

Little Lies

Little Lies Maxi Dress- I was worried it would be way too long on me, but as long as I wear high shoes it's not too bad.
I'm wearing a nude bodycon underneath, this dress really does need something underneath thanks to the lace parts, otherwise it would be too revealing!
It's quite a statement in itself, so I kept the accessories simple.

Velvet Leopard

Here is a piece I am very lucky to own. The Black Milk Leopard Bodysuit!
I had only ever seen the blog photoshoot images of this one, so I was really surprised when I went on eBay and saw this just listed, with a buy it now price of only $95!!
I quickly snapped it up. It took so long to arrive thanks to dodgy Australia Post that I thought it was lost, so glad it wasn't!
It's made of the same material as the Leopard Leggings, super soft and shiny :)
I paired it here with my black velvet skater skirt and black & gold accessories.

Shine & Stripes

Always love black & white together. Here I paired my Jailhouse bodysuit with the black PVC skirt.
I love these skirts! But only for the cooler weather, I won't be making the mistake of wearing one on a hot day again ;)
Again wearing my Mary Chain heels, I wear these a lot! They are so huge but work well with my outfits lately.
Yesterday was a great day for my Black Milk collection; I added 10 new pieces thanks to the release of Witch Please! I really loved the 'Little Lies' collection. I love the designer stuff and being black and lace they were great for me! Can't wait for them to arrive!

Welcome to the Darkside

What better outfit for May the 4th (Star Wars Day).
Darkside Swim! A BM piece I thought I would never own! Probably one of the rarest out there; a mash up of Star Wars & Pink Floyd album art, this one was quickly pulled from sales after copyright issues.
I've always loved it, such a weird and unique design and I love the rainbow against the black :)
I was lucky enough to get this one from a lovely girl who didn't wear it.
I paired it with all black and my red PVC skater to match the red of the rainbow.
First time wearing my new YES Galactic Boots! There are going to become a new favourite! They are so comfy and awesome (full review coming soon).

Illuminate

I finally added Illuminati Leggings to my collection! I had been after these for a long time, but every time they came up they were in a big size or went for way to much on eBay.
I bought these from a lovely sharkie along with a couple of other pieces.
I'm really happy with them! I loved the print..obviously, seeing as I chose it for one side of my custom Inside Out Dress.
I paired them here with all black- pretty much all I wear now, I really should clean out my closet and ditch all the coloured pieces just sitting there. Make room for more new purchases ;)

Vanilla Leopard

Another from the Vintage Black Milk archive; Original Leopard Leggings.
Over the years Black Milk have done quite a few different Leopard print designs- these were the first.
They have a metallic sheen and smudges of silver foil over the print; this surprised me at first as I thought it was fading!
I paired them here with my Sheer Back Tee, so glad that the Witch Please collection has a few new basic tops! They go with the leggings really well :)

Piano Keys

Here's a piece I hadn't seen much off until I owned it; Piano Key Leggings.
I bought these along with a couple other older pairs recently.
I really like the look of them, but I'm not sure it they suit me. Lately I've drifted more towards darker colours, plus every time I wear white I seem to spill something; so these probably aren't the best fit for me!
I can't deny they are very unique, a real statement piece! So I kept the rest of my outfit simple pairing them with a black top and my new Deandri boots!

Ruby Red

This dress is one of those pieces that sat in my closet for ages, then when I wore it I fell in love.
I love red in general, so I don't know why it took me so long to wear this one.
I bought it back when it was first released; along with all the other crystal dresses.
I always seem to pair red with black and this outfit is no different; I love the combination.
I wore my Saxony wrap cardigan, this one can be worn a couple different ways but I like the shorter front best.
I only recently placed my first order with Saxony and am so far really happy with their clothes! Some of the sizes fit quite large though!

Illuminati

Here is the other side of my special custom Black Milk Inside Out Dress' Illuminati!
I love the leggings in this print, but have not yet been able to track a pair down in my size. *edit: I now own the Illuminati Leggings too!!*
I thought the print would look awesome in a dress; so I chose it for the reverse side of my 200th piece!
I think this pattern will be a good one to dress up or down, I can match it with a lot of different colours and have it work together.
I paired it here with my Lita Spikes, one of my earlier pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's, I find I don't wear them often anymore, but the black/silver matches the tones of the dress pretty well :)

Barbie Bath

As if Black Milk wasn't awesome enough; they also offer special milestone rewards.
Once you buy 50 pieces from the store you get a $130 gift voucher; I used mine to buy my Nairobi Long Sleeve Dress.
At 100 pieces you can chose the Pop Art print in any style; I chose the Bodycon Dress, I also have the Leggings.
At 200 you get to create your own special custom piece!!
On my second BM anniversary I received my 200+ Club email.
I had been thinking about what I would chose for a while; I decided on an inside out dress!
You can get anything printed as long as it isn't copyright. So many options! But I really wanted something that was still unique to Black Milk, seeing as other companies now do custom prints also.
Here is my styling of the first side; Barbiebath! My own creation based on the Black Milk Bath series I really love those leggings, and now own 3 out of four; Plumbath (purple), Bloodbath (red) Slimebath (green)! Still looking for the Snowbath (white). *edit: I found Snowbaths! Bath collection complete :) *
I asked for a pink version; I love pink! Obviously seeing as my blog is named Pink Glitter! If there was more of the Glitter Pink fabric and the custom piece could be designer material I probably would have gone with that!
I'm so happy with my special dress!! I came home to it in my mailbox, it was a big surprise! I wasn't expecting it so soon- I only got my email 3 weeks ago :)
Thankyou to everyone at Black Milk for making this happen! Special thanks to Cam for all your help xx

Pegasus

A blue and neutral outfit for today's post. Wearing my Black Milk Pegasus Swim for the first time since I bought it a few months back.
Another piece I never gave much thought to when it was in-store, but I've been collecting all the Animal Swim's lately. I really like the background image behind the Pegasus; it reminds me of Alphonse Mucha pieces.
I paired the swim with another Black Milk piece; one of my many velvet bodycon skirts- this time in a light blue to match the background of the swim.
I really like how these pieces look paired with one of my favourite pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's; the Stunning. These neutral toned shoes match so much! The T-strap design is always a winner for me :)

Dead Cat

Double Black Milk outfit featuring the Lace Shrug and an unexpected love; Dead Cat Leggings.
I bought these leggings in the last museum release; when they were in store I didn't give them much thought, there was so much else I wanted at the time.
Looking through the Museum items they caught my eye, reminding me a little of the Abstraction print which I am still looking for.
I decided to buy the Dead Cat's- named because the pattern features Cat Skeletons all over- and I'm glad I did! I really love them, they look just like patterned leggings until you get up close to see the detail.
I paired them with all black, including another BM purchase; the Lace Shrug, which I decided against keeping, they were just so huge!

Golden Pin Up

Another of my sample Black Milk pieces; probably my favourite one, and also my newest.
I bought this Pin Up dress from another Sharkie (who I've also bought a few others from before).
It's the same cut as the original Pin Up Dress, but the layer under the lace is gold instead of the regular black. It's so pretty and shimmery in real life :)
I paired the dress with all black & gold accessories, including my forgotten Hermes cuff I found stashed at the back of my jewellery draw!

Wonder Gown

I recently scored this one-off Black Milk piece on eBay. Another version of the Villainess/Kapow dresses from the Batman Collection; maybe part of the second DC collection? Or perhaps one they decided against? Either way I'm really happy I won the auction as I loved all the other dresses from the collection!
It's a lighter shade of red than my Kapow and of course floor length, I have plans to wear this to an upcoming wedding :)

Kapow!

Kapow!! Here is one of my latest pieces bought in the Batman release.
Usually I'm not into asymmetrical dresses, but when I saw these velvet ones I fell in love!
I took a long time deciding which colour to buy..failing completely with that I decided on the purple and the red, then also bought the longer version The Villainess in the blue.
The colours are so vibrant, and the material shimmers a little in the light.
Here's my styling of the red Kapow; worn with a chunky gothic inspired necklace and heels.

Sheriff

Possibly my new favourite shoes!! I just got the UNIF Neo Boots :) I loved them for a long time, but they were sold out in my size everywhere I looked :(
I luckily scored the last size 6 pair from Urban Outfitters! They took a while to arrive, I was anxiously awaiting them!
I paired them with my Black Milk Leather Skirt and the Sheriff Swim; which has now been passed on to another lovely Sharkie :)

Creep

All black outfit with a dash of pink thanks to my Balenciaga Clutch :) I have a new one on the way! Can't wait for it to arrive. I never used to like clutch bags, but now I seem to use this one all the time.
I'm wearing my Creep Leggings, a Cyber Sale purchase. I really like holographic things; the faces on these change colours in the light, plus I'm wearing a lot of black lately so these work well :)

Road Kill

Happy Australia Day!
I had an awesome day wearing my special Black Milk Australia Day piece 'Road Kill Skater Dress'.
It's so cute featuring all Australian Animals (with a couple of sneaky one's blended in too!).
The colour theme on the dress was blue, orange and white; so I kept to that for my accessories.
I really like that Black Milk make special pieces for occasions like these; I bought the Aussie Bogan Swim last year for Australia Day. I hope they will keep this tradition going :)

Wolf

Another dream piece crossed of my list! I recently got the Wolf Swim finally!
It is in a bigger size, so I'm planning on getting it altered to fit better soon.
I really love the Black Milk Animal prints, especially the older one's like this.
I paired it with grey denim shorts, usually I wear my swims with high waisted skirts, but I didn't want to lose to much of the wolf print.
Also these stockings; which I bought from Dolls Kill a long time ago now and have had sitting in the draw, I like them paired with my Mary Chain platforms :)
