The Deepest Blue's Are Black

The last piece left to show from my BM Halloween haul.
The Deep Blue Evil Cheerleader.
I love the EC dresses, I have all of the ones ever released, so when these were on the list I got excited! They were originally limited, but I'm glad that changed!
Also available in Black and Mulled Wine and in the Skater cuts, I'm thinking of getting the Mulled Wine Skater to compare the difference and see which I prefer.
Such soft lovely fabric. I paired it with my Opening Ceremony heels, which also have the deep blue velvet on the lower half- it's hard to see in photos. Also a couple of vintage accessories with the clutch and belt/necklace :)
I had a lot of success in the Ammo release today, managing to get all 6 pieces I really wanted! Can't wait to get them in the mail and style them!

Pink Panther

Crazy leggings paired with a simple top.
These are the Pink Panther Leggings- set to have a limited re-release in Thursday's Black Milk Ammo.
If you are able to ninja them, I'm sure you wont regret it! I really love them, so sparkly :)
I bought mine about a year ago now from eBay. Not really sure what happened to Black Milk's "no re-releases" plan..
I put my pink laces in my Hellbound's to match the black & pink of the leggings, due to the camera flash though it ended up looking two completely different colours.
There's a few things I would like to get from the Ammo release, the one I really want doesn't look like it's going to happen though :( even though they would match my blog perfectly..looks like there's no Glitter Pink Leggings for Pink Glitter.

Vapor Pop

Pop Art Dress- The 100 piece Milestone.
I've had mine for about a year now and never worn it..I seem to do that a lot..so here it is finally.
I also have the leggings which I have shown previously in this post. Honestly not sure which I prefer, I used to be really into the dresses, but now I prefer swims. The ride up on the dresses annoys me, pull the dress down, the top ends up too low cut..can't win.
I've recently started buying shoes again after taking a break from them for a while. Here is one of my new pairs; the UNIF Vapor in Lavender. I loved these when I saw them posted from the Sample Sale, much prettier than the black version which was widely available.
They are pretty high, but are stable thanks to the large platform and thick heel. Love the perspex heel detailing :)

Denim Damsel

Something a little different from my usual outfits. A sophisticated top dressed down with casual jeans.
I wish I had bought more of the short lived Sophia James pieces, but I'm lucky to have the ones I do. This top; the Damsel is really nice, and especially great as it can be worn 2 way's being reversible.
Balenciaga accessories- with the bag and bracelet, one of many, I will have to do a collection shot soon :)

Rainbow Barbie

When I first saw this skirt I thought it would be really good to wear with my Black Milk Bodysuits & Swims. I found it on Choies website for a really good price so I thought I'd give it a try.
I think it looks really good with all the straps, it's like a harness and overalls mixed into one.
For this outfit I paired it with my Barbie Bodysuit, my camera is washing out the colours, in real life it looks much prettier :)
I'm currently looking at buying a new camera..I think mine has had it's day, any recommendations are welcome!

Deadly

Here's another of those not often worn BM pieces; the Deadlier Swim. I've had this one for quite a while now; thought it was about time I wore it.
I paired it with my blue skater- considering this skirt is quite a bright blue, it goes well with a lot of outfits.
My red Balenciaga looks orange against the shoes- they are quite similar colourings, but photograph different due to being holographic, they are really pretty in the light :)

Wednesday

My last Halloween order arrived yesterday; Wednesday Dress and Blue Velvet EC Dress.
I tried them on and was really unsure of the Wednesday Dress, the tassels were all wonky and I just wasn't loving it.
After letting it hang overnight; the tassels have dropped a bit better now, so I thought I'd try to style it today.
I decided to wear the front tassels around the neck and draped over the back, an idea I saw a girl post on the BM group. I really prefer it like this rather than having all the tassels just hanging over the front (as seen in the last photo).
The dress is pretty tight, with not much stretch so maybe size up if your between sizes, however one good thing about being tight is no duck bum :)

Honey Bee

The last of my Black Milk Halloween pieces for now; I'm still waiting on the Wednesday Dress & Velvet EC.
Here's my Bee Skater. I've always loved the Bee print, so I was excited when I heard about this one! Especially being a more flattering skater dress style.
I paired it with a Yellow Knit as it's not quite warm enough for the dress on it's own just yet, Balenciaga bag and brown Lita's.

Shredded Sequins

Black Milk grunge mixed with Sophia James sparkles.
When the Sophia James collection was first released; I bought the Nixie dress, I loved the sequins so much I decided to also get a Nixie skirt in the recent sale.
I was deciding between the Nero (black) and the Oyster. I went with the Oyster as I felt I can get a black sequin skirt anywhere- this colour was more unique; it's a really pretty silvery pink colour.
I paired it with my Shredder Crop- another Halloween release purchase and baby pink heels and bag.
I'm gathering quite a collection of Balenciaga Bracelets now- I love matching them with my different bags/outfits.

Gizmo

This one takes me back to my childhood..The Mogwai swim from Black Milk's Halloween collection.
Featuring one of the cutest characters Gizmo, just look at his sad little face.
I really like that the print is in Black & White rather than colour. I paired it with mostly black, I like how his face peeks out from under the jacket :)
The Halloween collection has definitely been my favourite release to date! I've already bought 7 pieces and have quite a few still on my wishlist! Loving all the designer pieces.

Jacko

The Black Milk Halloween release included a Jack O Lantern Skater Dress; it inspired me to wear my Jack O Lantern Swim from last years Halloween Collection.
I paired it with my Burnt Velvet Skater Skirt, creating a dark Halloween vibe.
Here is my 3rd Phillip Lim for Target bag; the Yellow one, probably my favourite of the three.
It matched my accessories; yellow Balenciaga bracelet and my favourite vintage necklace.

Freak Stew

My first order from Black Milk's Halloween Collection 'All Killer, No Filler' release arrived today.
I got the I Eat Mice Zipper Suit and the Freak Stew Skater Skirt.
I actually ended up placing 4 seperate orders within like 10 minutes cause I didn't want to miss out on the limited items. Turns out I rushed for no reason, as things didn't sell out as quickly as usual.
Both of these items are currently still available, so if you like them; snap them up while you can! I highly recommend them both! Especially the Zipper Suit! It's so nice, really shiny and I love the zip feature, hopefully there will be more Zipper Suits in the future :)

Hoot

A neutral coloured outfit for today featuring my Black Milk Owl Swim and my just arrived Phillip Lim for Target mini satchel in Taupe. I also got the Yellow and Black versions of the same bag, which I will feature in future posts.
I love them! So little and cute; but surprisingly fit quite a lot inside! I've been thinking of buying the Mini Pashli from Phillip Lim's main collection; these dupes have made me even more certain of wanting the Pashli! Now to decide which colour..
I scored this skirt for only $5 from Kmart so that was pretty good, it's just a simple skirt, but I liked it with the Owl.

SharkieCon Spirit

I was so bummed when I saw this special SharkieCon Shooter pop up around Instagram and Facebook.. I never even seen it!! It was a special hidden pre-sale item for SharkieCon Vegas.
I really loved how it featured the same Sharks as the Shark Swim (which coincidently I just found out I missed seeing/buying on eBay!!).
I managed to find this one on eBay; of course I ended up paying a lot more for it, but at least it's mine now :D
I paired it with Blue Galaxy Leggings- you can't get more classic Black Milk than those ;)

Crazy Patterns

Glad I decided to buy the Back Of The Deck Swim in the last BM release, being a limited pre-sale item, I was still undecided, but the time limited made me cave! Turns out I really like it :)
Such a crazy pattern called for a simple bottom; the Eyelash Skirt. The Eyelash Dress & Tee are some of my most worn and versatile Black Milk pieces, so I knew I needed the skirt when it was announced!
I'm really looking forward to the Halloween release! Judging from the ever-growing list; there are quite a number of items I plan on nomming :)

Nueva York

Another red + black outfit; my favourite colour combination.
First time wearing my Bloodbath leggings, despite having them for ages, I actually like them more than I thought I would, they are a very detailed print, looks like little faces hidden in the pattern. I would love to get the purple version 'Plumbaths'.
I paired them with my Phillip Lim tank, Im really loving this designer at the moment! And yes I did pick up a few pieces from the recent Target collaboration, but more on those later ;)
Something different for this outfit post; I'm wearing flat shoes (well flat for me) My UNIF Koop's got there first outing, very comfortable and easy to wear, and I didn't stab anyone with the spikes either!
As I mentioned earlier; I have a new bag to show and here it is! The Balenciaga Classic City in Coquelicot. It looks a little more orange than in real life in these photos, but It's a really beautiful Poppy red in real life. I've wanted a red Balenciaga for a really long time and was originally searching for one with the giant gold hardware, but when I saw it, I didn't really like the gold with the red. Then I found the classic with all the tassels and fell in love :)

Skater Girl

Sort-of Spring weather means I can wear my dresses!
Im really glad I was able to get this BM Lace Skater when it was released, it's really pretty :) Although I would call the colour more pink/watermelon than red as the name states.
It matched my Balenciaga clutch perfectly; also a pinky/red shade. I've never really been into clutch bags, but I really like the Balenciaga styles as they are more slouchy than structured and fit quite a lot!
I got these JC Hologram Heels recently for a bargain price! I expected them to be to big for me as they are a size larger than my usual, but they fit really well. They look awesome in the light!

Shiny Spring

Spring weather is slowly returning, today I wore my Silver Shattered Glass Jacket, it's so shiny in the sun; like a beautiful rainbow :)
It's such a statement piece I wore it over a plain white tee and jeans.
It's warm enough that I can start wearing open heels again, after months of being covered up in boots, for this outfit I wore my Senso Saure Heels which matched my baby pink skull scarf.
My Bleu Lavende Balenciaga is probably one of my favourite bags in my collection, although I do have a new one to show you soon ;)

Girly Grunge

As the weather slowly warms up, I am now able to start wearing some of the Black Milk pieces I have accumulated over winter, this was my first outing in the Tartan vs Wetlook Bodysuit I got in one of the recent releases, I love it! Hopefully there will be more styles like this in future.
I love wearing red & black together, so this outfit worked really well for my style, plus I finally got some wear out of my tartan Tardy boots :)
