Harley

I never really understood the hype over Black Milk's "Harley Quinn" Leggings the Red & Blacks, yet I really like this sample dress I recently acquired.
It's a wet look skater dress, similar to the two-toned PVC skirts that never ended up being released either, apparently there were problems with the two colours rubbing together, but this dress being wet look, doesn't have that problem. Hopefully it's released eventually, It's a really cool piece.
I paired it with another recent addition- the Card Suit Hosiery, keeping in the Harley Quinn theme :)
Black and red accessories complete the colour blocked look.

Black on Black

Back to Black! I did however buy quite a few bright coloured pieces in the recent Disney release!
I'm slowly receiving them all! So expect a few brighter pieces in future outfit posts ;)
I do love my black clothes though, here I paired two Black Milk pieces together; the basic Wet Look Skater Dress and the lovely Little Lies Jumper.
This necklace is one of my new favourites; I bought it from Lovisa, but it has a real antique look and is really heavy. It doesn't really show well in these photo's however.

Happily Ever After

The first (and my favourite) of my Black Milk Disney release pieces. The Happily Ever After Dress!
Such a pretty dress; white burned velvet with puffy sleeves. Something different from my style of mostly black lately.
I paired it with simple white heels and some pink shiny disney princess inspired accessories.
I ended up buying 6 pieces in the release, I managed to miss out on all 3 of the coloured PVC skirts however, so I'm now on a mission to track them down :)

Velvet Flapper

My style has changed lately; I'm not really into the bright coloured outfits as much anymore, much preferring darker colours- usually black with a few deeper coloured accessories.
I'm not really sure what caused the change, but I'm really liking it.
Here's another of the darker looks featuring my Black Milk long sleeve velvet dress; a piece I was really glad to see re-released! I have quite a love for velvet pieces!
Also wearing my Flapper Hosiery- they remind me of mermaid scales :)

Give Me Nylon

Give Me Nylon Or Give Me Death! A pretty true saying for me and my Black Milk obsession!
The 400k Noms Bodysuit was a must have for sharkies. I paired it here with my BV Maxi Dress folded over and worn as a long skirt. I love the Burnt Velvet stuff!! Hoping for more styles in the future :)

Shiny Sapphire

I've bought so much from each of the last few Black Milk releases, I haven't had a chance to even wear a lot of the pieces yet!
Like the shattered crystal pieces; I bought all three colours in both the dress and the bodysuit. Here's my styling of the Sapphire Shattered Crystal Bodysuit.
It's the middle of winter here now and the temperature is really dropping! So I'm finding I'm always too rugged up now to bother taking any outfit pics. I hate winter with a passion! Cannot wait for the warm weather to return so I can get more wear out of my Black Milk Swims & Dresses :)

Dark Days

I've just returned from visiting Kuala Lumpur for Fashion Week!
I had a great time seeing the runway shows and discovered some new designers whose pieces I fell in love with!
I also did a bit of shopping while I was there of course ;) But more on that soon.
For now; here is my Arabella Noir Dress; My favourite of the 3 of course, being black!
I paired it with some vintage accessories and my long-lusted JC Black Stunning's which I own after trying to find them for such a long time! The best part- the bargain price I scored them for on eBay :)

Arabella

As soon as I saw the lace bell sleeved dresses from the Black Milk Christmas Party I fell in love.
It's been a long wait, but the final version was released with this months 'Battle of the Kings' Black Milk release.
The Arabella came in three colours; black, blush and wine. I wanted all three.
I got my wish, I was able to get them all, which I was really happy about!
Here is my styling of the Wine. It's such a pretty dress I kept it basic- paired with vintage accessories and simple platforms.
I really love these dresses, the fit is really nice and the colours are lovely! The wine is a little darker in real life than it looks in my photos. I'm really into medieval / game of thrones styles at the moment, so there were a few pieces in this collection which I liked. The never ending Black Milk buys continue ;)

Dragon Spartan

Update: from now on I will be posting a new outfit post every Wednesday. Real life is getting busier and I just don't have the time to update the blog as often anymore.
This weeks post features Lace Spartan Bodysuit- a piece I had for a long time but was unsure of how to style it, the diagonal panel makes it tricky to pair with anything on the bottom, I decided to keep it to a similar colour scheme, pairing it with my Dragon Snot skirt- which looks awesome in the light :)

Jabberwocky

I was so undecided about the Jabberwocky Swim when it was released, there were a lot of other pieces I wanted in that release, and being a 48hr item it wasn't my priority.
I ended up not buying it, which of course, as usual I regretted.
I ended up swapping with another lovely Sharkie- she got my Starry Nights dress and I got the Jabberwocky!
I really love the colours and how the texture of the print makes it look like a drawing.
I paired it here with my leather skirt and a new jacket bought recently from Dolls Kill- another of my favourite online stores :)

High Neck, High Socks

When I first tried this dress on, I really wasn't liking it at all! It was huge and had no shape to it (which I was expecting from the site photos, but thought I would try it out anyway).
Paired with a belt and a singlet dress underneath and it's much better.
Another pair of shoes first spotted thanks to Black Milk; Ego & Greed Carleen's; cute little clog style heels which I paired here with high socks..which did unfortunately make my feet slip forward.
I also dusted off my old Stam bag, I haven't used this one in what feels like forever, I had forgotten how awesome it is :)

Jeffrey Campbell Scully

Another day; another shoe purchase.
One of my latest arrivals direct from Solestruck; the Jeffrey Campbell Scully.
A pre-order from months back, I finally received them about a week ago now.
Jeffrey Campbell is and always will be my shoe designer of choice. Every time I take a new pair out of the box, they never disappoint.
Sticking to my tradition of black platforms. These are a 6 inch heel with a 2 inch grippy platform.
I got my usual size 6 and if anything they feel slightly small, but still wearable.
I'm not overly fond of the velcro ankle strap, but that can be removed if desired.
As always with platforms; I had no trouble walking in these, they are very stable and well balanced.
I've already worn them in a couple of outfit posts; 'Hocus Pocus' and 'Witch Please' and also with high socks which I really love the look off paired together with these platforms.

Little Lies

Little Lies Maxi Dress- I was worried it would be way too long on me, but as long as I wear high shoes it's not too bad.
I'm wearing a nude bodycon underneath, this dress really does need something underneath thanks to the lace parts, otherwise it would be too revealing!
It's quite a statement in itself, so I kept the accessories simple.

Purple Haze

I was pleasantly surprised when I first received these leggings; they were much prettier than I expected!
Rainbow holographic on a light purple base. I bought these when they were first released a while ago now, but was yet to wear them.
They match perfectly to my Bleu Lavende Balenciaga bag- one of my favourites, such a chameleon; sometimes it looks blue, other times lilac depending on the lighting.

Hocus Pocus

Another Witch Please piece today; the Hocus Pocus Dress.
When this dress was first sneaked I didn't think much of it, then I saw photos from the fitting and it looked so much better than the official photos.
Being black- I had to have it! I'm glad I was able to get it, being limited I was worried it would sell out. I really love it in real life! The skirt is thick and heavy which is good as it wont blow up like some of my BM skater dresses tend to do in the windy weather!
For this outfit I wore it with the chiffon kimono worn a couple of different ways- flowing loose and tied at the front in a bow.

Witch Please!

My Black Milk 'Witch Please' pieces are starting to arrive now. I ended up buying quite a lot from this release; including the 'Little Lies' collection.
Here I wore my Little Lies Sweater, the one piece out of the four that I wasn't sure about. It is quite a large fit- this is the XXS and it is still roomy!
I wore it over my BV Babydoll dress (I'm not a fan of exposed stomachs) So this will be used as a layering piece for me.
Also a new shoe arrival; the Jeffrey Campbell Scully. I pre-ordered these ones months ago! I finally received them yesterday! Love them! Next on my shoe wishlist is the boot version- Mulder.

Velvet Leopard

Here is a piece I am very lucky to own. The Black Milk Leopard Bodysuit!
I had only ever seen the blog photoshoot images of this one, so I was really surprised when I went on eBay and saw this just listed, with a buy it now price of only $95!!
I quickly snapped it up. It took so long to arrive thanks to dodgy Australia Post that I thought it was lost, so glad it wasn't!
It's made of the same material as the Leopard Leggings, super soft and shiny :)
I paired it here with my black velvet skater skirt and black & gold accessories.

Holey Tartan

I got everything I wanted from the Witch Please release, all but one. The Inside Out Dress.
I went for the Little Lies collection first as I thought it would be a quick seller.
Until I manage to track one down elsewhere I will have to be happy with my other tartan BM pieces; including my Tartan Boyfriend Tee.
It is pretty oversized, which makes them good to pair with leggings, here I wore my Holey Side Leggings which I recently found on eBay.
I really love these! I love all my Black leggings. They are always the ones I go straight to over the prints.
Again wearing my new favourite shoes; the Yes Galactics! I have 2 new pairs of shoes on the way from Solestruck! Look out..the obsession has begun again ;)

Wednesday, 14 May 2014

Shine & Stripes

Always love black & white together. Here I paired my Jailhouse bodysuit with the black PVC skirt.
I love these skirts! But only for the cooler weather, I won't be making the mistake of wearing one on a hot day again ;)
Again wearing my Mary Chain heels, I wear these a lot! They are so huge but work well with my outfits lately.
Yesterday was a great day for my Black Milk collection; I added 10 new pieces thanks to the release of Witch Please! I really loved the 'Little Lies' collection. I love the designer stuff and being black and lace they were great for me! Can't wait for them to arrive!

Yes Galactic

I've always loved shopping on Solestruck, by far my favourite online store for shoes. When they started there own shoe line called Yes; I was excited to try them.
A lot of them were very much my style- dark colours and chunky platforms.
I decided on three different pairs- here is the first.
Lace up platform boots very similar to my trusty Jeffrey Campbell Tardy's which I wear a lot! When I saw these on the site they were an instant want!
Then once again Black Milk used them for one of their shoots- funny how we have the same tastes ;)
So my two loves merged together and that decided it for me; I had to have them!
As always Solestruck were wonderful! Easy to order and great customer service; I had my new shoes within a few days :)
I've already worn these out a few times- they didn't need any breaking in! They were so comfy right away and being a platform- easy to walk in too!
I got my regular size 7, which is what I usually buy in boots so I can wear socks with them. They fit try to size, pretty similar fit to the JC Tardy's actually.
So far so good! They are well made and very sturdy. Shiny patent leather without being too in-your-face. I love the square toe, something different from most of my other shoes.
Overall these are awesome and I would definitely recommend them! I'm really happy with them and they will be worn a lot :)

Black/White

I got this sample Black Milk bodysuit quite a while ago now, first time wearing it.
It's a similar design to the Tartan/Wetlook one with the curve of the two materials.
That happens a lot; I buy all these things and forget about them for months. I'm such a hoarder, I really need to have a big clean out of all my Black Milk and other clothes & accessories.
I love my UNIF Neo Boots! Seriously comfy platforms, so glad I was able to nab the last pair in my size! I have some new UNIF pieces on the way too! I'm really excited to get them :)

Welcome to the Darkside

What better outfit for May the 4th (Star Wars Day).
Darkside Swim! A BM piece I thought I would never own! Probably one of the rarest out there; a mash up of Star Wars & Pink Floyd album art, this one was quickly pulled from sales after copyright issues.
I've always loved it, such a weird and unique design and I love the rainbow against the black :)
I was lucky enough to get this one from a lovely girl who didn't wear it.
I paired it with all black and my red PVC skater to match the red of the rainbow.
First time wearing my new YES Galactic Boots! There are going to become a new favourite! They are so comfy and awesome (full review coming soon).

Illuminate

I finally added Illuminati Leggings to my collection! I had been after these for a long time, but every time they came up they were in a big size or went for way to much on eBay.
I bought these from a lovely sharkie along with a couple of other pieces.
I'm really happy with them! I loved the print..obviously, seeing as I chose it for one side of my custom Inside Out Dress.
I paired them here with all black- pretty much all I wear now, I really should clean out my closet and ditch all the coloured pieces just sitting there. Make room for more new purchases ;)

Velvet Galaxy

Back to the most recognised Black Milk prints- the Galaxies collection.
Here I paired my Purple Galaxy Swim with two other Black Milk pieces; Teardrop Lace Jacket and Crushed Velvet Skirt. The skirt is such a rich pink colour! It matches really well to the tones in the swim. I love pink and purple, especially paired with black :)
Also my latest Balenciaga; Baby Daim (suede) in Dark Violet; this one was a birthday gift! I love it, something different from the regular leather.

Friday, 25 April 2014

Vanilla Leopard

Another from the Vintage Black Milk archive; Original Leopard Leggings.
Over the years Black Milk have done quite a few different Leopard print designs- these were the first.
They have a metallic sheen and smudges of silver foil over the print; this surprised me at first as I thought it was fading!
I paired them here with my Sheer Back Tee, so glad that the Witch Please collection has a few new basic tops! They go with the leggings really well :)

Piano Keys

Here's a piece I hadn't seen much off until I owned it; Piano Key Leggings.
I bought these along with a couple other older pairs recently.
I really like the look of them, but I'm not sure it they suit me. Lately I've drifted more towards darker colours, plus every time I wear white I seem to spill something; so these probably aren't the best fit for me!
I can't deny they are very unique, a real statement piece! So I kept the rest of my outfit simple pairing them with a black top and my new Deandri boots!

Deandri Ginger

As you would already know if you follow my blog; these days it's all about Black Milk!
However my blog originally began due to my love of shoes; my first posts were all about my personal collection, new arrivals and shoes I loved, but did not yet own.
I used to buy frequently from Solestruck at the peak of my obsession; at the time Solestruck was the place to go for Jeffrey Campbell's, they had every pair I wanted and I always received great customer service.
My buying slowed around the time that Solestruck dropped down their new arrivals from Jeffrey Campbell, slowing selling out to just a few popular styles. It was a big disappointment for me as I loved shopping on Solestruck over all the other stockists.
It was of course Black Milk that tempted me back to Solestruck, when the new collab between Black Milk x Solestruck was released, I found myself on the website checking out all the new brands.
I found a couple of styles which I loved! One were these Deandri Ginger Platforms in black on black.
I remember seeing Deandri around quite a lot about a year ago, but the styles at the time were not really for me; lots of wooden heels. These of course still have the wooden heel, but in black rather than natural wood.
After I found these on the site, Black Milk's latest photoshoot came out; featuring these exact shoes! It was great to see them paired with the clothes I wear everyday, I ordered them pretty soon after that!
I emailed Solestruck and was told they probably wouldn't be getting them in again, so I had to size up, something I was a bit worried about, but turned out to not be such a big issue. The Ginger runs half a size small anyway so it was really only a half size too big which is nothing socks cant fix ;)
I love the style of these!! I'm really into all things black and witchy right now so these fit that perfectly!
I've worn them out once already. I found that they do squeak when I walk..hopefully something that will go away once they are worn in a bit.
They are very comfy though! Even with the 6.5inch heel. I'm used to wearing huge platforms anyway so these were no problem!

Ruby Red

This dress is one of those pieces that sat in my closet for ages, then when I wore it I fell in love.
I love red in general, so I don't know why it took me so long to wear this one.
I bought it back when it was first released; along with all the other crystal dresses.
I always seem to pair red with black and this outfit is no different; I love the combination.
I wore my Saxony wrap cardigan, this one can be worn a couple different ways but I like the shorter front best.
I only recently placed my first order with Saxony and am so far really happy with their clothes! Some of the sizes fit quite large though!

Pearls & Lace

Shattered Glass Pearl Leggings; so lovely and shiny in person, so hard to capture in photos.
They are a really pretty rainbow pearly hologram. I've had them for such a long time I don't even remember how they came to be in my collection.
I paired them with my black lace top, hoping for some more Black Milk tops soon; they go with everything!
This necklace matches perfectly with the leggings, it has the same shades of rainbow shimmer :)

Deep Purple

Purple Kapow! Love the colour of this dress, reminds me of Cadbury chocolate :)
I wasn't going to buy the purple one to begin with, then I saw a behind the scenes photo of it from the shoot and it looked so much nicer than the product page photos.
I'm really surprised that it's still available on the site, I would have thought it would have been more popular! I think it's really unique and something a little bit different from usual Black Milk styles.
Glitter Nightwalk's and coloured jewels make it a real party worthy outfit!

Wednesday, 9 April 2014

Plumbath

Finally tracked down Plumbaths!! My Bath collection is nearly complete ;)
I love them! Such an awesome pattern and colour.
I paired them with this new top I recently bought from Saxony, they have some really great pieces. I also bought a couple of other more winter style tops which I really like too. Lot's of black which is always great by me!

Monday, 7 April 2014

Boney

Here's the Bone Machine side of my latest Inside Out Dress.
I do like the print placement of this one, especially the top part, the print kind of follows your ribs.
Of course I had to wear it with my Bone Machine Lita's ;)
I accessorised with the same pieces I wore in the Galaxy side outfit, some blue to break up the monochrome.
I never used to be a fan of clutch bags; then I got my first Balenciaga Envelope Clutch and fell in love with them! I use these all the time now! (as you've probably noticed in my posts). I really want to get a black one soon.

Friday, 4 April 2014

Seeing Stars

My third Inside Out Dress; Blue Galaxy vs Bone Machine.
I now have 3 out of the 4 released so far; of course the one I want the most is the one I don't have (Peacock vs Purple Galaxy).
I've heard there will be a single sided Peacock Skater released soon though! So hopefully that happens :)
I just got this one in a swap, it's unfortunately too big for me being XS. I really like the galaxy side, not so keen on the bone machine side, I think I would like it a lot more if it fit me better.
I paired it here with my Metallic Midnight Lita's and blue accessories.

Meteor

I recently got this awesome Black Milk jacket from another lovely sharkie.
It was a prototype piece from when Black Milk first started. I guess they decided to go with just the Meteor Top & Dress. It's a shame cause the Jacket is really nice!
I never really wanted the Meteor Dress until now! Once I got the Jacket I really noticed the sparkle the fabric has, it's really pretty :)
I paired it with my Sheer Straps; an impulse purchase when they became limited! So glad I got them, I think they will be good for wearing under dresses too. I sized down in these; my regular size was sold out when I went to buy them, but they actually fit really well.
My JC Watchman boots match the shimmery effect of the jacket, add a mini bag and my outfits complete :)

90's Kid

I've always loved Nirvana, so when I saw this tee in Cotton On I had to buy it :)
To keep with the 90's grunge theme, I wore it with my Black Milk blue tartan leggings.
These are my first pair of Black Milk tartans. I was going to buy the red ones; which are still on my wishlist, but these blue one's are my favourite, they popped up on eBay recently and I got them for around retail price which was really good.
All my favourite shoes are huge platforms! The chunkiness of the Neo boots are very 90's too.
I bought the whole outfit together with black & blue accessories. I really like this look :)

Illuminati

Here is the other side of my special custom Black Milk Inside Out Dress' Illuminati!
I love the leggings in this print, but have not yet been able to track a pair down in my size. *edit: I now own the Illuminati Leggings too!!*
I thought the print would look awesome in a dress; so I chose it for the reverse side of my 200th piece!
I think this pattern will be a good one to dress up or down, I can match it with a lot of different colours and have it work together.
I paired it here with my Lita Spikes, one of my earlier pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's, I find I don't wear them often anymore, but the black/silver matches the tones of the dress pretty well :)

Barbie Bath

As if Black Milk wasn't awesome enough; they also offer special milestone rewards.
Once you buy 50 pieces from the store you get a $130 gift voucher; I used mine to buy my Nairobi Long Sleeve Dress.
At 100 pieces you can chose the Pop Art print in any style; I chose the Bodycon Dress, I also have the Leggings.
At 200 you get to create your own special custom piece!!
On my second BM anniversary I received my 200+ Club email.
I had been thinking about what I would chose for a while; I decided on an inside out dress!
You can get anything printed as long as it isn't copyright. So many options! But I really wanted something that was still unique to Black Milk, seeing as other companies now do custom prints also.
Here is my styling of the first side; Barbiebath! My own creation based on the Black Milk Bath series I really love those leggings, and now own 3 out of four; Plumbath (purple), Bloodbath (red) Slimebath (green)! Still looking for the Snowbath (white). *edit: I found Snowbaths! Bath collection complete :) *
I asked for a pink version; I love pink! Obviously seeing as my blog is named Pink Glitter! If there was more of the Glitter Pink fabric and the custom piece could be designer material I probably would have gone with that!
I'm so happy with my special dress!! I came home to it in my mailbox, it was a big surprise! I wasn't expecting it so soon- I only got my email 3 weeks ago :)
Thankyou to everyone at Black Milk for making this happen! Special thanks to Cam for all your help xx

Pegasus

A blue and neutral outfit for today's post. Wearing my Black Milk Pegasus Swim for the first time since I bought it a few months back.
Another piece I never gave much thought to when it was in-store, but I've been collecting all the Animal Swim's lately. I really like the background image behind the Pegasus; it reminds me of Alphonse Mucha pieces.
I paired the swim with another Black Milk piece; one of my many velvet bodycon skirts- this time in a light blue to match the background of the swim.
I really like how these pieces look paired with one of my favourite pairs of Jeffrey Campbell's; the Stunning. These neutral toned shoes match so much! The T-strap design is always a winner for me :)

Dead Cat

Double Black Milk outfit featuring the Lace Shrug and an unexpected love; Dead Cat Leggings.
I bought these leggings in the last museum release; when they were in store I didn't give them much thought, there was so much else I wanted at the time.
Looking through the Museum items they caught my eye, reminding me a little of the Abstraction print which I am still looking for.
I decided to buy the Dead Cat's- named because the pattern features Cat Skeletons all over- and I'm glad I did! I really love them, they look just like patterned leggings until you get up close to see the detail.
I paired them with all black, including another BM purchase; the Lace Shrug, which I decided against keeping, they were just so huge!

Go Go

I love the Burned Velvet fabric; when I saw this dress sneaked in a podcast over a year ago now it was an instant want!
Finally it was released as part of Black Milk's Game Of Thrones Collection.
As soon as it was released I snapped it up. I probably could have sized down for this one I think, but it still fits quite well.
I paired it with my Opening Ceremony heels and some giant statement earrings.

Sick Of Skaters? Never

A couple of posts ago I shared my styling of the Sapphire side of my latest Inside Out Dress, now here is the reverse side; Sick Of Men.
I always loved the Sick Of Men print, so I had to have this! I really like how the print is smaller on this dress too, not as in-your-face as my bodycon and skirt were.
I paired the dress with my SOM Lita boots- how could I not?

Golden Pin Up

Another of my sample Black Milk pieces; probably my favourite one, and also my newest.
I bought this Pin Up dress from another Sharkie (who I've also bought a few others from before).
It's the same cut as the original Pin Up Dress, but the layer under the lace is gold instead of the regular black. It's so pretty and shimmery in real life :)
I paired the dress with all black & gold accessories, including my forgotten Hermes cuff I found stashed at the back of my jewellery draw!

Friday, 14 March 2014

Crystal Blue

Second Inside Out Dress. Sapphire vs Sick Of Men. I love both sides of the dress!
Here's my styling of the Sapphire side; keeping it simple with blue accessories, the dress is a statement itself.
I really love these Jeffrey Campbell heels, they are so pretty and shiny up close. The ankle strap is removable; I think I prefer them without it.
My special 200th Custom piece is on the way; also an inside out dress! Can't wait to share it!!

Musk Mermaid

Black Milk sample pieces! So much unreleased awesomeness!
I have a few unique sample pieces that I really love; including this Mermaid Musk Skater.
I think this one is eventually going to be released; I hope so cause it's such a pretty dress.
It's much more pink in real life, but hard to photograph, it's one of those that changes colours under different lights.
I paired it with pink accessories of different shades; including my Senso lace up heels, I haven't worn these for quite a while, I forgot how good they are :)

Monday, 10 March 2014

Battlesuit

Here's my Purple Battlesuit outfit. I really wanted the Red one, but I missed out, so I bought this one as a replacement.
I do like it, but I'm hoping to eventually track one down in the red ;)
I paired it with all black- lace skirt to girly up the PVC look a bit, and my Hellbounds.
I would love this with pink panels! Maybe one day..

Wonder Gown

I recently scored this one-off Black Milk piece on eBay. Another version of the Villainess/Kapow dresses from the Batman Collection; maybe part of the second DC collection? Or perhaps one they decided against? Either way I'm really happy I won the auction as I loved all the other dresses from the collection!
It's a lighter shade of red than my Kapow and of course floor length, I have plans to wear this to an upcoming wedding :)

Snow Fox

I love the moment when I finally acquire a dream piece!
I recently found my Snow Fox Swim! And for once it was actually in my size :)
I love it even more than I thought I would, I was unsure if wearing it as a bodysuit would cut off to much of the Fox, but as long as the bottom isn't high waisted it works fine.
I paired it with some berry coloured accessories; including my newest handbag! A Hermes Constance I recently found in a local vintage store! Major score :)

Popsicle Power

Black Popsicle Swim! Finally :)
This was my original dream piece, back when I first started buying Black Milk 2 years ago! I fell in love as soon as I saw it, but back then it was super rare and impossible to find.
Then I saw a peak of both the black & white versions at a photo shoot! I was so excited I would finally be able to get it!!
I got the white one when it was first released, and have been waiting not-so-patiently for what must be months for the black version. Finally it was announced as part of the Chinese New Year release; everyone else seemed to be upset about the pieces not being 'culturally appropriate' but all I could think was YAY POPSICLES!!!
So here it is! I paired it with my Burnt Velvet Skirt and some bright blue accessories. I love all the cute little faces and expressions on each Popsicle.

Black Milk x Solestruck

Black Milk's latest shoe collection arrives Wednesday on Solestruck.
The collection features 3 styles- The Jovy-Anne, The Lana and The Bonnie. The shoes take their names from Black Milk Customer Service Mega Hotties.
All 3 are ankle boot styles in signature Black Milk designs- Burnt Velvet, Mermaid, Wallpaper, Tartan and the Blackmilk print.
I'm really loving the Jovy-Anne in the Burnt Velvet. I also like the Tartan Lana; but I already have tartan Tardy Boots which I hardly wear.
Be sure to check for the Collab on Solestruck Wednesday!

2 Years On

Today marks 2 years since I made my first ever Black Milk purchase.
It was the Rainbow Galaxy Skirt; I've always loved rainbow prints, so when I first discovered Black Milk I fell in love!
I made my order, and waited (not so)patiently for what seemed like forever; 8 days later my shiny black package arrived and the obsession began there.
2 years on and my current collection stands at over 300 pieces.
I've managed to find lots of my dream pieces, some harder to find than others. I've scored some bargains and paid a small fortune for others.
I'm currently planning my custom 200-store-piece! I can't wait to share it here :)
But back to the outfit; this is my Villainess Dress. I love it! Something different from typical Black Milk pieces, I'm loving the sophisticated edge of some of the newer pieces.
